Status: B.Tech CSE (Tier 2 College) | Timeline: May–July 2025
Role: Advanced Application Engineering Analyst Intern (AEH) | Company: Accenture Location: Bangalore
Landing an internship at Accenture was my first major step into the corporate tech world. The entire process was smooth and well-structured and taught me how to present both my technical and communication skills effectively.
The selection process had four rounds, each testing a different side of me—from logic and coding to communication and personality.
Round 1: Online Assessment (90 mins)
The OA was a mix of aptitude, verbal, logical, and basic technical MCQs.
Topics included DBMS, OOPs, OS, CN, coding, and a few output-based questions in C/Java.
It was mainly about quick thinking and accuracy under time pressure. Staying calm ensured I didn’t spend too long on a single question.
Result: Cleared
Round 2: Coding Round (45 mins)
This was a dedicated round purely focused on problem-solving skills.
There were 2 coding questions, generally around the medium level:
- Problem 1: Graph-based question (don't exactly remember but was LC medium)
- Problem 2: String transformation + HashMap (handled edge cases & frequency-based output)
I wrote clean, modular code with comments and explained my logic briefly at the end—a small detail that makes a big difference in auto-graded environments.
Result: Cleared
Round 3: Communication Assessment (20 mins)
This round checked pronunciation, fluency, tone, and listening comprehension through automated modules.
My preparation strategy was simple—clear, confident English and steady pacing.
The goal was to sound natural, not rehearsed.
Result: Cleared
Round 4: Technical + HR Interview (30–40 mins)
The final round was conversational yet technical. The interviewer was friendly and wanted to understand both how I think and what I’ve learned.
Topics covered:
- My projects (I walked through my AI-based tutor project—the interviewer appreciated the practical use case and had follow-up questions about technologies and alternative technologies used). Major discussion was around projects and technologies.
- Basic CS fundamental concepts.
- HR discussion: strengths, teamwork, and how I adapt to new tech quickly
I used the STAR method (Situation–Task–Action–Result) to structure my answers naturally.
Result: Selected for Internship
