Situation:
During the development of a performance-heavy analytics module, I noticed our existing frontend structure wasn’t optimized for handling large datasets.

Task:
I had to decide whether to continue optimizing the current setup or rebuild part of the module using virtualization techniques — which meant reworking existing code and risking a delay.

Action:
I analyzed the time cost versus performance benefit, discussed it with my manager, and presented a technical proposal with benchmarks showing that virtualization (using react-window) would drastically improve rendering speed.

Result:
We went ahead with the change and reduced page load time from 6 seconds to under 2 seconds. Though it added a week to the timeline, the final result improved overall usability and client satisfaction. The decision built trust in my technical judgment.
